Hi all,

Since 2 months I have the BOSS micro BR.
For the thing I want to do, store my ideas, is work perfect.

But yesterday I had a song with 4 tracks (He I am a beginner  ;D)
Bouning 2 tracks to 12V1 I can handle.
12V1 export to MP3 and I have an MP3 which I can load to my phone.

But how do I do export more then 2 tracks to 1 MP3 file.
Couldn't find it in the manual.

Is it like this:
Bounce tr1 , tr2 -> tr12v1
Bounce tr3 , tr4 -> tr34v1
Bounce tr12V1, tr34V1 -> tr12V2

Does anyone know

Kind regards,
Alex

Hi! .. and welcome.
As mp3 is stereo you have to end with 2 channels what can do if you only use 4 tracks is :

Master tr1v1 , tr2v1 tr3v1 , tr4v1 --> tr12v2

if you want more than 4 tracks:
Bounce tr1v1 , tr2v1, tr3v1 , tr4v1 -> tr12v2
record on tr3v2 , tr4v2
Bounce or Master tr1v2, tr2V2, tr3v2, tr4v2 -> tr12V3

Hi Geir,

It has been awhile but today I finally got the change to try your idea/suggestion.

The problem is:
I've recorded a guitar track on 1,2&3 and a bass track on 4.
If I want to bounce or master them I can only select to track 1/2 or 3/4 to 12V. or 34v.

How can I bounce tr1,2,3,4 -> 12v.
I really don't have a clue.

Regards,
Alex

Hi, When you go into Bounce or Master mode, the display in the top right is the destination for the Bounce or Master. This means that whatever 4 tracks you have selected will be recorded in stereo to the two tracks on the top right of that screen. So if it shows 12V2, it means you will be recording a mix of your four tracks in stereo to those two tracks. You can change the 12V2 to another pair of tracks by moving the cursor to the 12 or V2, so you could record to 34V8 for example.

Now your destination tracks should be empty, because when you Bounce or Master, the result is recorded to the destination tracks in stereo.

When you start recording in bounce or master mode, the four tracks that are displayed in the Track window are what is being recorded to the destination tracks. So press Exit until you get back to the counter window (that shows where you are in the song). Then press the TR1 button and scroll through the screens until you get to the window that says "VTrack" with 8 little boxes to the right. Under this are the four tracks that will be Bounced or Mastered. So if this window displays V1 V1 V1 V1 it means that TR1V1, TR2V1, TR3V1 and TR4V1 will all be bounced or mastered in stereo to TR1 and 2 V2 if you had 12V2 displayed when you go into Bounce or Master mode.

Hi Nigel,

Gonna try it tonight.
What confused me went I try to bounce the tracks last night.
TR1,TR2 where 'blinking' and TR3,TR4 where not, so I assumed that
only TR1&TR2 where used.

I am gonna try it, thanks for your detailed answer.

Yes, that's a bit weird. But when you are in Bounce or Master mode, the "blinking" record tracks are ignored. It's silly they are still displayed in those modes. The important thing to remember is that when in Bounce or Master mode it will be recording to the the track or tracks displayed in the top right of the main window, regardless of which tracks are flashing on the Rec Track window.

Good luck,

Nigel
