Need some help running my PA into a sound system

So i have a really big gig(s) this weekend, 8 concerts (40 min each) over 2 days at this new mall opening in Sarasota. They want me to use their sound system but I need to have it all going through my gear so I can control it. I've never had to do this so I want to make sure I have the right cords. I need both channels 1 & 2 + the Auxiliary input, mixed preferably from the SA220 into whatever they have.

If I come out of the mix DI with an xlr cord, then is that a mono signal & is that enough?
One xlr from mix DI into say channel one of their PA
or
do I need an XLR that splits into 2 ends, thus needing 2 Channels on their PA?
or
Do I need 3 xlr's and have to control mix with their board? (not my favorite choice)

As always thanks for your advice!
Rock on!

The Mix D.I. (Post) output is a mono mix of both channels plus the Aux Input. That's the one to send to their P.A. However, you should try to find out what equipment they have and what inputs are available. Ideally, you'd want to connect to an XLR Line Input but their gear might have 1/4" phone jacks, RCA connectors, or only Mic inputs.

I know this isn't the way you want to go, but if their equipment is user-friendly, I would go that route. It's at least worth a look-see.

Congrats and good luck on the gig. I'm curious how you scored this one.

Hi Hook. For simplicity, the MIX DI out is the one to use. That way you get both channels in mono, unless you're looking for a stereo sound, then you would use Channel 1 and 2 DI out (2 chords). You need to connect to an IN on their board with an XLR connection or XLR to 1/4" adapter. Preferably a DI In but a channel/s In will work as well. Will you be using your effects and EQ? If so the main board would need to adjust accordingly such as turn off their effects and maybe set their EQ flat or use very little. Good luck with the shows!

I'm just that good brother!

Thanks guys, I'm hoping that the Mix DI works just fine. Will i still have sound out of the 220? If I run into problems I'm just gonna pull the plug and just run through the 220 like I always do & wanted to do in the 1st place. I do have an adapter to convert the XLR to 1/4 inch, just in case also.
Thanks for your help!

Hook, good luck with the gigs. You should still have sound out of the 220 even with the mix DI connected to the other PA.
