It seems this fest, as undesired as it was, has completely taken over my life. Here's my "J" submission.
Done early this morning on the MBR. I've really missed the effects in this unit!

Brill. So good to hear a JJ song being covered. I've been meaning to do Won't you be my No 2 for ages.

I have been on a Joe kick lately, so this was more than welcome. A great tune and great cover.

I'm a massive Joe fan.

This is a twisted version, like time caught up on the man, finally gone mad, living in an alley.

Superb.

Bro,
For someone who wasn't inspired by the Peel fest, you are knocking these out of the park at an incompressible rate.  ;D ;D ;D ;D Damn it Bro, you are putting the rest of us to shame! My excuse is that I have no studio as my mum is staying with us, only leaving me time to ramp up some new gear :-)

I thought the wobbly echo on the vocals is really cool (its sounds almost like a slap back echo) - and like most of the Peel tunes, very rarely know any of them - although I do vaguely recognise this track! Very cool submission.

Great cover Hook !  Love the way you did it and it brought back that late 70's vibe.  Loved Joe Jackson's stuff - he was definitely part of the soundtrack of my life around 1979.  Great to hear this again.
