It doesn't sound too ropey to me.  In fact, it doesn't sound even slightly ropey.  I have huge admiration for people who can sing a cappella.  This is great.

My personal contribution: the video of Genesis Hall I recorded here in Palermo a couple of years ago at a Fairport Convention concert. I used a Sony DSC-W300 camera. I couldn't imagine a little camera could record audio & video so well!!!
