That begs a lot of questions, Hilary.  Aside from the obvious, I mean.  In the USA, fanny means - well - something else to what it does here in the UK.  Was it already a double-entendre there, or here, when the song was written or did that come later?

Nice to know I'm not the only one still imature enough to smirk at that title, though.

Sorry I'm getting to this late...

I actually know this song (and I'm a Larry Williams fan), and you nailed the phrasing and mood! I like how the lyrics name drop various 50s hit songs, too. As usual, uke strummy goodness and great live feel. The recording did seem a bit low...maybe normalize it Audacity?

My own thoughts regarding the title: I think the double-entendre was for the girls name and posterior (the USA slang for the word).
