I got the Korg D4 yesterday so thought I would test it out.

This using the on board mic with a reverb setting just recorded a live mono track. It hooks up easily through usb (old square kind) & it does have some mastering capabilities but I only had the one track. Intially thought I'd record this in front of a + size clothing store and make it a double fester but I didn't.

Never heard this song before, but I the title drew me in..fnarr fnarr

Brilliant vocal here, you are belting this out like you sure mean it, and the quality of the recording for a live take is mightily impressive too.

I do like the look of that recorder by the way, and as you are straight into recording I assume that it's pretty user friendly?

Thanks guys, it is a fun little song I had never heard either. I only found it thanks to 64's intense research for the fest, thanks 64!!

It is a very nice recorder & pretty intuitive, more knobs than menus. It certainly gives the MBR a run for it's money in features. 4 tracks(8 V tracks each), effects for guitars, bass & vocals. 2 track simultaneous recording. A Nice built in mic (poorly placed) XLR & phantom power. I think it can bounce/mix (master?) to an MP3 but need to read manual. Biggest problem is no batteries, adapter only! It took me about 10 min. to get to recording. I had the levels really low, it clips easy & quite loud when it does. I imagine with some practice though I would(will?) figure out the levels though.
Cool little recorder!

Huge vocal, you really let that one go.

Don't know the original either, but way to go with the cover.

Fannie-on!

That begs a lot of questions, Hilary.  Aside from the obvious, I mean.  In the USA, fanny means - well - something else to what it does here in the UK.  Was it already a double-entendre there, or here, when the song was written or did that come later?

Nice to know I'm not the only one still imature enough to smirk at that title, though.
