This is the first recording I did with my GT-10. I remember being pretty excited about the result and I was also encouraged by the positive feedback  I got at the time.

Cracking tones, great technique and a crisp backing - I love a nice surfy whammy bar wobble! Is that a Strat? Fine work.

Nice. Oh, this was killer. Excellent tones, but I think you could've gone even more over the top on the reverb. Loved the whammy bar dips.

Ooh.  This brought on a vision of longboards and bikini clad babes with beehives and bobs dancing on the beach.  I like that vision.  I'm going to play that again.

In answer to your question Greeny. Yes it was a Strat that I used on this recording.

I'm also quite sure that it was a strat used on the original recording not a Mosrite although the Ventures did rerecord this I'm not sure how many times.

This is the only Ventures song I play for the moment anyway. Definitely a great band.
