Somehow an errant song made its way into one of my comments......its a great song, by a brilliant musician...Hilary and Bruno thought it was me...so this is for them....ps I will find out who performed the original....its a great song with consummate musicianship.....so obviously not mine..lol

I was impressed with the authentic sounding vocals (and by that I mean it sounded like you were from the south. South U.S.A.) after hearing you introduce the song. Nicely played and performed and the recording sounds not too shabby as well. Keep 'em coming.

p.s. Thank you for the comment on Color Fades. And I'm sorry that it touched you but I'm honored. I'm glad you felt the true meaning of the song.

Oh that's err great John. It's funny how you talk and sing in a completely different accent and don't remotely sound female (I think the harmonies were male though!) This is definitely your genre.

TC, just the thought of me being an authentic Southern Man.... :) Im actually from the North East of England....we are known as Geordies, I actually sent a song to a friend Michigan after telling her about my Accent, she replied so that's a Geordie Accent ? are you sure its English, Hilary it is funny how I sing in many different voices.....I must be channelling Derek Acorah.....I tried to sing Blaydon Races a Famous Geordie Folk song, my wife was laughing and still does because she said my voice varied from posh, to Geordie then to American...Mmmm I might record it and post it although Ill have to be careful.....you may think Im three or maybe even 4 different people.......cheers for listening always a pleasure when someone takes time out of their day to listen to my offerings.
and thanks Johnny had a quick listen to some of your work.....will be back Im starting to get into Jazz......listening to it more than playing.....good stuff and Im planning to watch that Goodall documentary ....Im sure its still on Iplayer...catch you all later.....taffsdad  Aka John aka the frozen in Space blues singer....lol

Hilary just had a listen :-).....now Im going to be really cool and paste the reply I made over there over here

Hilary...the Waye Pet is spot on...the rest might be Yorkshire, I think.....you got a great voice, I wish I had been here in January......Waye Eye Man Pet ya a Canny lass...Hoi ya Hammer owere here Marra....Hilrary I will definitely do another version of Blaydon races...and will try to keep my errant singing accents in the right right track ie Geordie....Hilary it was funny when we wereon holiday in America, I always start telling jokes...believe it not its because Im quiet and shy.....the thing is my jokes are Surreal to start with hoi in a Geordie accent and you've got chaos.....I spend more time trying to explain what Ive said but just end digging a deeper hole with no way out.....Ill do that track later hope you get to hear it....later Bonny lass....:-).....and my wife says Men cant Multi Task.....whoops have to go the sink is overflowing the chickens have escaped.....help...I don't like this Multi Tasking.....
