This forum has a thread about different uses for the Micro BR but this benefit to mankind needs one of its own.

A team from San Diego State University recently published in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine that moderate good health can be achieved by taking 100 footsteps per minute for thirty minutes.  And that these can be built up in ten minute blocks.  So I decide to put myself on the line for the sake of science and the MBR.  Last night when I walked to the pub (which I knew to be about ten minutes because I'd done it once or twice before) I set the metronome to 120bpm on 4/4 (I'm always excessive in health matters).  I stepped out and sure enough as I was heading in the door I had clocked up 327 bars which is nearly 11 minutes.

So it's true, the Micro BR is the world's first musical pedometer and I only have to go to the pub three times a day to stay fit.

If only I could get rid of that annoying little bell on the first beat of every bar.

I do not understand. The article I read said to do a power chord windmill strum for each bell chime.

Aah-ha!  Is that what they mean by zen guitar?

Hopefully you were able to use your Micro BR while walking back home from the pub...I don't think they can nab you for OUI operating under the influence.

Dang it; I guess I've got to either move closer to the pub or start doing windmill power chords for exercise...
