Excellent song, and although the temptation must have been to keep the electric, bass and drums in, this sounds perfect to me in this form.

Top vocal and guitar melodies, and the fabulous arrangement lets it all flow so wonderfully well and does give it a folky feel, but with an edge.

This lends itself to be a cracking addition to your live solo sets.

As you should be proud of it, it's a very well crafted piece.
Love the vocals and the guitar but I must admit I found myself leaning in for the bass, in the chorus.

Way to show restraint, stripping it back to the bare necessities, yet still having a full sound in support of the mothership.

The sound of those guitars got me right from the start. I definitely hear the attraction. When I first read your post I was thinking a good arrangement might be to build up to a full arrangement somewhere. But I think it works very well just as it is. Your vocals sound good as always and the title/hook works very well. I definitely like this one as well.
