Chameleon - Garageband/Boss BR800

Originally written in the early 80's by myself & a friend, we recently decided to re-record & produce this for posterity.

The backing track was recorded in Garageband, using an iPad & iPhone, then exported to a Boss BR800, for the addition of bass & guitar, before final mastering.

Very cool & very 80's, I hear some Echo & the Bunnymen in there & maybe a little Flock. I dig the instrumental section around 3min.

So much to take in. Fantastic arrangement with a lot of details, and the production allows it all to be heard!! EXCELLENT work !!

jings crivvens and help ma boab, this is good, a great soundscape, i'm getting an 80's vibe too, from the vocals in particular, tho i cant quite place what they remind me of. maybe the psychedelic furs or clock dva.

but never mind the comparisons, this is absolutely fantastic.

Music for Chameleons. Love the 80's-tinged vibe and drama of the performance / production. The bridge sections are outstanding, as is your vocal. A very heady but excellent brew.

It does have a bit of an 80's feel in parts, but I felt it had a lot of more modern flavors as well. It's a thick arrangement that seems to work pretty damn good. At least I liked it.
