Google buys Roland

I was shocked with these news.

As some of you may know, Roland, the company behind Boss has been under financial stress during the last two years, in the wake of some terrible new releases such as the Boss BR80.

Google (yep, they have too much money) is looking into the not so small niche of home studios, and they acquired Roland's I&D division in order to develop low latency for Android mobiles and have access to the COSM algorithms.

They are expecting by 2016 to release a BR series for Android and for Chrome.

Let's see what happens. I am keeping my microBR...
