this is a collaboration with my old guitarist chris vaisvil with whom we are celebrating being in our first band 40 yrs ago.
chris does the 12 string guitar and the lead guitar at the end. i am doing the bass, keys, vox. i wrote the lyrics, arranged and did the editing.
chris asked me to do a drum track, with which i added a bassline and then he put in the chords and i took over from there.
the song is a prog rock song about a true love just never able to really get going.

A prog rock song about love? Huh? Where's the wizards and space epic, or even some vampires...?

Seriously, this is excellent stuff, I like the way the bass counterpoints the guitar. Having Chris on board gives this a slightly different feel but it's still got many of your hallmarks. Love the high vox towards the end, nice work there, it;s almost like the voice and guitar are soloing against each other. Overall it's another epic piece of work, really liked it.
