I've just finished the book Helter Skelter about the trial of Charles Manson and the Family for a number of murders back in the 60's ....very scary stuff...the control of one person over another and in this case a number of others who would do anything to please....including murder............
The Easy-rider he's unstoppable
the family became a raging bull
the black night hid all the truth

killing for Charlie to please his soul
killing for charlie theres no right no wrong

out into the canyon the stars fall down
on a Helter skelter down to the ground
spiraling down like Charlie foretold
were not gonna live until we are old
killing for Charlie to please his soul
killing for charlie theres no right no wrong

killing for Charlie to please his soul
killing for charlie theres no right no wrong

first there's one and then theres two
then theres 7 deaths all of it true
Charlie's god he's Jesus alive
and the family don't see beyond the Fathers lies

killing for Charlie to please his soul
killing for charlie theres no right no wrong
killing for Charlie to please his soul

A really 60's psychedelic song underlining the madness of the subject of the lyrics. Well done.

Cool track - definite 60's vibe, and that fuzzy guitar sound. I've come over all purple and flowery.

Killing for Charlie.....I remember it well Trevor as a teenager back in 1969 when actress Sharon Tate, her unborn baby, and others were murdered by The Manson Cult. That was some scary stuff and you've captured it well in these lyric and song with sounds of crazy helter skelter. I find it hard it believe that Charles Manson is still alive in prison today.

Tough subject Regs but this is a deep and brooding piece. Slightly scary too. More great wah work and you have captured a psychy trippy again.

Oh yes I remember the case well, and you've managed to capture the madness of the dreadful and cruel murders.
