Very nice Jim, one voice and one guitar. So incredibly hard to pull off, well at least I think so. Loving this.  Roscoe

Wow and double wow, just found this one. I am a massive Kevin Ayers, growing up I had every album he did up to The Confessions of Dr Dream. A great talent but sadly never reaching his full potential, a bit too distracted by the vino and the ladies. Also suffered from the pressure of the music business in which a true individual like him always struggled to find the right commercial niche. And this is a lovely song which I am sure he would really like. Jim, it's fabulous and I love it. You've recorded it stunningly well (scots version with electro acoustic), it is just perfect. Wow.

If you don't know Kevin's work, here's one of my faves of his, a classic love song:

Mike Oldfield is playing the bass and those of you that know my bass playing might guess this is one of the tracks I tried to copy when I was learning......

Jim, thanks for this. It brought back many happy memories of my youth, Kevin Ayers was part of the soundtrack to my teen years.

A lesson to everyone, (like me) who can't go more than 8 bars without a key change, that sometimes keeping it simple and capturing the feel & emotion is the best way to go. This is beautiful & touching.
