It'a been a long time I 've not posted here friends,
This is a cover of a french song I love :  "L' Intranquillité" by Louise Attaque, in Comme on a Dit, 2000.
The french lyrics play around sounds and word meanings, and the harmonic turnaround is very cool to play
Two tracks, on an acoustic Taylor recorded with voice (mic and line in), plus solo on fishman pickup via microbr cosm effect for electric guitar sound
Even if it's in french, hope you will enjoy! Don't hesitate to comment friends!

When I recorded that song, I had to be very quick because there was a little excited child of 4 years who wanted to play with her (very) noisy (= funkin') toy... I have to tell her all the noises she done will be in the recorded song... :-/

It's a song very strange, with multiple possible significations... about difficult relationships beetween friends, where the friend (or the boyfriend?) ignore you and where you live for the other and not for you.
But the paradox is that in this situation, you think a lot about your friend ... and yourself finaly. You, what do you want, what do you decide for you, just you?

To help you to understand a part of the words, i will translate this verse :

Just an idea who follows me
Just an idea, not what I am
It's just an idea that I flee

You can see the play (playing? I don't how to say in english) on the words : "je suis" in french have two significations : I am, I follow.
Between "je suis" and "je fuis", there is only one letter, "s" or "f", but the significations are opposite : to follow, to flee.

The interesting historical thing  is that in old french, in the first printed books, the graphy of the letter "s" was the same that the letter "f".
The interfesting hiftorical thing if that in old french, in the firft printed books, the graphy of the letter"f" was the fame that the letter "f"... ;-)

All the song play with the paradoxes and ambiguous significations...
