Dear all,

1st, please forgive my lack of manners and comments. I am still on holidays and with a very bad internet connection.

Gritter suggested the Stone Roses' "I wanna be adored", aka "i wanna be a door". A found the song a bit too difficult for me, and decided to cover instead my favorite song of the album, "I am the ressurection". Warning, it is quite a stripped down version without all the fancy guitar parts or the amazing improv at the end.

Reddler suggested a song I did not know, The Jam's "Liza Radley". I immediately felt in love with song. Quite simple song but really catchy and fun to play/ sing. I learned the song very quickly, but not so much the words - you will notice I stumble a verse. Sorry! Amateurs...

I cooked both the songs in a medley, which I hope is fun to listen, though a tad long. If someone wants to add anything (backing vocals, lead guitar, whatever) feel free to contact me.

Hope you enjoy it! Sandy/ Kari thanks for the suggestions!

BTW Thank you all for the nice comments on my last songs. You are all too kind, and for the ones that don't know, spend 5 minutes in youtube listening to Shane McGowan singing Summer in Siam. Great, great song!

So... nevermind the bollocks, here's dasilvasings...

Having spent quite some time programming the mbr drums, it's nice to recognise some of my favourite patterns ;D

That said, I really dig your fest contribution here. This is not what I expected, but I really like it !

AhAh!

Thanks! Yes, I got rid of the BR80 and got the mbr again. I started with the Rock1 Intro as a sort of a private joke. I am really glad you noticed it!

I pre-listened this a couple days, ago! This works fine on medley - two all time favourite Brit bands of mine on same track!!!

I suggested Liza Radley, because it is a bit "un known" tune (B-side of Start from 1980) and I have always loved this tune!

You've done great job on these! Loved the drum programming, too. Do you remember which pattern did you use eg. at 52-54 seconds?

Great job with the Stone Roses. The melody really shines under your direction. Liza Radley is a fun one to play and works well in this medley.

Particularly enjoyed the Stone Roses part, your vocal fits the song like a glove and you controlled it so well throughout. The MBR drum programming was impressive as it's somewhat limited when doing covers to try and match it close to the original, but this sounded great.
