bazz-t-bass

Hi all from Bazz Harber a sad old git if ever there was one (70 this Xmas).

Played in school band in 1959 and was pro for a few years until 1964 with a Birmingham UK band (Carl Wayne & the Vikings) who transmogrified into the MOVE after I packed in.

Have kept my hand in (bass and guitar) over the years and started to write my own material a few years ago using a sequence of Boss BR recorders (currently BR1600)

Everything I write is obviously influenced by my involvement in the 1960's UK music scene.

This is FINE!!! the first self-penned track I completed around 2010 :-[ :-[ Have a listen in the following topic:

Welcome to Songcrafters, Baz! That's a mighty fine introduction song you posted there. :)

I'm a big fan of The Move, and I know some other folks here are as well. Looking forward to hearing more of your stuff.

welcome! I was born in 59, and being American, the move was never big here during their hey days! I started listening to them about 10 yrs ago, and the pretty things, now I am a fan, I did a shitty cover of blackberry way as a cover on this site over a yr ago. if you ever fancy real drums, let me know.

Welcome Baz. Looked up 'the Move', I thought that I didn't know who they were, and was surprised how many songs I knew. We are all on a kind of musical journey on this site! However, its the collaborations on this site which still blow my mind!

Loved your recording, it sounds so well recorded and perfectly mixed. Did you use the 1600 for that? Very cool intro.  ;D

Hi guys and thanx for listening and adding feedback.

Bruno ....I recorded "Fine" on a BR600 (the 1600 is my current BR digi studio) using on-board FX and drum machine. The voice is processed thru a TC Helicon Harmony GTX (inc backing vocals) using a simple Shure sm57.

All other instruments9bass keyboard are direct input to the Boss

Hello, Baz,
Welcome to Songcrafters. You've found a good cyber-home here.

Fine is an excellent listen. Vocals, instruments and production is smooth as silk.

You're just a young whipper-snapper, as age goes. I've got you beat by one year.
