Your opinion on BR-800's touch-sensor buttons, please

Hi everyone,

I've almost made up my mind to add a BR-800 to my collection of Roalnd stuff, and the only reservation that I still have is the touch-sensor buttons on this device. Those who have used it for some time, what would you say about those buttons? Will they last? How do they function and look after some years of use?

And, by the way, has the updated firmware resolved the issue of no copy/paste functionality that provoked so much criticism after the product's launch?

Thanks!

To the best of my knowledge, they are not mechanical switches.....they are capacitive sensors..its an electronic device like a capacitor or resistor......Apple has been using that technology for quite awhile now...the track pad on an Apple laptop and Apple's Magic track pad are good examples...I'm using both of those and they are sweet!

I also have the BR-800, and I don't believe you'd regret having one....they are pretty sweet, too!
Unlike wives, you can never have too many Les Pauls.
