Thank you for your kind comments, gentlemen.

I recorded the guitar tracks last year, then tossed them into the when-I-get-around-to-it pile.

Mrs Demon finally gave me a round toit (a round piece of cardboard with a smiley face drawn on it) and told me to get busy on the music. Or paint the house. The music suddenly started to sound like a good idea.

Just arrived after listening to the other cover of this... ;)

This is another excellent cover of one of my favorite Cars songs. I dig the heavier-sounding guitars - more arena-rock than the original. Great vox from the Regs and nice to hear those drums played live Phantasm777...lots of thump in them!

Take a bow, guys.  8)

Thanks Mrs. Demon!

Great stuff! Great collaboration. I played bass on this song a couple of times, and the song always reminds me good times!

no reverb was used on drums, nor do I except rarely like for a psyche song. no gate nor limiter, I've never used those yet. part of the problem is I play drums in my basement, half the walls are brick and the other half paneling so the acoustics are shitty. plus most my cymbals are splashes, I don't like drawn out sustain on cymbals generally. since I accent notes a lot, I like a quick splash with no ringing.
