1978.

This one was more difficult than I imagined .... I spent more time laying down the "take a take a chance chance" backing vocals than I did on all the other tracks summed together. ::)  I do like a challenge ;D

Fabulous! Outstanding vocals, and I love the wah-wah and the bass.

You're giving me a new appreciation for ABBA. I never listened to them much in the past but I'm beginning to see that they were quite amazing. The vocal arrangements are so rich and intricate. The intro of this song, for example, shows that it would work perfectly well without any backing music. The vocals provide all of the elements of a complete song on their own due to the brilliant arrangement. There's melody, harmony, and rhythm. The music is great too, but it's interesting that the vocals are so strong that they could stand on their own.

Well done, Geir. I'm looking forward to the next one. And in the meantime, I'll be listening to this one lots.

brilliant. i never appreciated abba first time round either as they seemed the antithesis of all things punk at the time.

it took the scottish band danny wilson covering "knowing me knowing you" to appreciate what great songwriters they where.

I've always liked Abba and really respected there songwriting, quite complicated stuff really. This one was always my favorite, I've tried to play it numerous times and never been able to make heads or tails of but this....this is spectacular!!! The vocals are truly brilliant but the flow and blend of the piece is just as impressive. I think rather than just a cd of Abba songs you should cover all the Abba songs!
Excellent listen!

This brings out some memories.
The backing is good, but I think it's the lead vocal at the intro and the first verse that stands out here.
You got me from the start.

Fantastic work brother. ;D

Outrageous!

How you managed to put this together on a BR800 I'll never know, no cut and paste and one track at at time and acappela to start off with. Bananas.

Look world - this is one man with a little magic box making fab tunes and impressing us all wildly and making us green with envy at his ostentacious skill and awesomeness.

Awesome. That's the word.

SUPERB!

I did and always will love ABBA. I don't think about it a lot, but they are probably one of my biggest influences. I'll always cite Queen and various rock things, but ABBA is what I was hearing in the charts when I was thinking of writing songs and making music. And I loved the sounds of every hit they had. And I've got the CD box set of albums and still listen to them regularly even now.

This is a wonderful version. Better check out some of the others now.
