Poor old Reg has taken a walk in the desert to try and find salvation......I got the Acoustic out for this one...
I was Blind (Lyrics)
I've  been out on this open road looking for the way to find me
nothing but tormented skies in front and behind me
Mama told me not believe you, that you were born to do me wrong
but i was blind
i was wrong
i believed
i needed you

Tomorrow with a different sun, maybe i can find the reason
why you left me deserted here,  it feels like you committed treason
Mama wants your head on a stake but i just want to find salvation
all i want to do is  believe

camping down through this desert storm my pillow is a rock
a fire set, trying to give me warmth but inside i feel i rot
all i want is wrong
all i believed was wrong
i'm out in the desert trying to find my soul
it seems you took it with you when you decided to go
all a lone under the stars and the moonlight
i seem to be finding something to console my mind
i was blind
i was so wrong
oh how i believed i believed
i was wrong
i was so wrong
mama was right you were born to do me wrong
i was blind
i was so wrong
i was blind i could see no wrong
i was blind i was so wrong
I was Blind

Very nice indeed Reg, you sound great as always, what a great sound you got for your acoustic and voice here, well done!  8)

Nice one Reg/Trev, the angst really comes through, and I still really wish I had your voice - sounds superb

Your vocals are always top-notch, and this is no exception. So powerful, with just the right edge of rawness and emotion. This song works so well with just the guitar and a voice. Makes me think of unplugged Bon Jovi but a million times more likeable, lol. Really cool song and performance.
