Alive
For the first time I see
past the space behind my eyes
At once, Arise

Before
All was in sight
As light took up less space in our minds
For now, Again

Buried in treasure
Now found
No wealth will take it's worth
The thing we lack.

Let the stillness of your soul
Reach out in time
In the mist of your life.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different
- Kurt Vonnegut.

This is really stunning!

A fine example that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Really a beautiful piece of music with great lyrics.

Oh ... I wish I'd been there too.

Beautiful. The guitar and piano sounds great, and I love the slight echo on the vocal. Great songwriting, performed and produced flawlessly.

Oh this is mighty, mighty fine - I love the slightly Spanish feel to the guitars and that haunting piano and snare. I can imagine this being part of a movie soundtrack.

Well done, fellas.

your sonund is amazing guys. great song, lead, vocals, when I close my eyes I'm back in my Lou Reed times....

Thanks for the kind comments.

We recorded the intruments with the MBR. The vocal and the snare were recorded directly into Reaper. There are three separate vocal tracks, the main track placed centrally and the two others panned hard left and hard right. We used the Rode NT1a to mic the vocals.

It was mixed and mastered on Reaper.

Now this is special. Love the way the arrangement lets everything 'breathe' so clearly, and the performances are (of course) absolutely out of this world. So poignant and so magical.
