Roland has announced that they'll be debuting new products January 21st on their Roland CONNECT website. I don't know if any of these new products will be recorders or other items of interest to BR users, but we can hope.

Also, Winter NAMM runs from January 24th to 27th, so we may learn more then. And, of course, we'll find out if Zoom and TASCAM have anything new as well.

I just ordered a BR-800 this morning on Amazon, so I'll be peeved if they come out with a new model. ;D ;D

Roland is struggling financially. They have also had a few mis-fires as of late: The V-Studio 100 and 700 were bombs I think. The V-Studio was $599, and now Sam Ash has it for $299. I considered buying one but it doesn't multi-track and they seem to think people will buy it for the software ( I already own SOnar so it's useless to me). I'm guessing Roland will release several low-end synths since they sell.
