Well, time to admit I voted for Discofest and after 4 weeks during which I blistered my finger tips playing the bassline and after umpteen attempts at the vocals which are very dodgy here's my version of We are family by Sister Sledge.  Though I would never have admitted it at the time, I've always admired the late Bernard Edwards' bass playing and Nile Rodgers' rhythm guitar.

Wow, very brave version. This is definitely not an easy song to cover, as I'm sure your blistered finger tips can testify
Really like the piano as well as the bubbly bass line. Rhythm guitar is spot on too.

Now ... All you you need is a group of nubile young females (hey, don't we all) to sing the chorus line.

Not sure if my player is acting up, but the song stops about half way through.
It could easily be me though, my iPad hates Songcrafters player 
Will try again when the trusty laptop is available again.

Well worth a couple of blisters, it's nearly a constant state for me - I don't play regularly enough, and then do a couple of three hour stints on soft pinkies.

Oh I was gonna do this one! You've done a great job with this Pete that bass is awesome well worth a few blisters (I've got permanent calluses and I play like sh*te). I've got my glitter boobtube on and I'm all ready for another listen
