Not usually one to explain, I thought this one needed a little background.

Using the MBR mic, I recorded the guitars using my little 6" speaker 'no name' practice amp. If it's possible, I made even less effort than usual, electing to record what came at the time. 'Lead' guitar and vocal were done together, resulting in 'contortionist' position. 4 tracks in all, two rhythm guitars, one bass and vocal and guitar together. The whole thing took just under 15 minutes, including 'writing', performing and mixing and mastering.

I can hear the air! :)

This one's another beauty - tonally, it brings to mind some of the great Boston indie bands I used to follow back in the 80s & 90s. Totally great.

I'm utterly incapable of doing something like this (I've just spent at least 15 minutes just looking at my BR thinking about recording a rocky one without going overboard on the overdubbing).

Hats off to you sir...

Right from that hooky opening riff with the jangly stabbing guitar I was sold on this, and am now on my third fourth listen as I type this.

I actually quite like the low level vox, gives it an edge.

hey - that's a really catchy riff Hen.
I was humming it after the first run.

I could see this song as a soundtrack for one of John Hughes' "teen" movies.

Very well done for a 15 minute job!  :o
It ain't pretty being easy.
