Hi there.

This is na_th_an (not my real name). I'm Spanish and have been creating and recording music since I was a child. From the straightforward "press REC on your tape deck" in the early 90s, using a playback tape and adding more music to another tape with the later playing back at the same time a bit after, to use the computer from the early 2000s. I love playing music, I love composing it and, since I can record it properly, the joy is unfathomable.

I'm in a band with the same guys I played when I was a kid and like to do quite a lot of solo work or record my pals, feeling like a true engineer (lo-fi, that is, but we all love lo-fi).

Since I discovered handheld recorders (I own the MBR and acquired a BR-80 earlier this year) everything has changed for the better. Being able to record on the spot and make my music wherever I go is a plus. Visiting my folks and picking up my old gear to record stuff, going to my pal's and jam a bit and produce a couple of tunes... That's great.

I've joined this site 'cause I've been lurking for quite too long. I have to thank you guys 'cause thanks to you and only you I picked the BR a year ago (I bought it for curiosity and was using it as a mere recorder for rehearsals) and got started. And thanks to you all, guys, I'm having hours of sheer amusement.

I usually record on the MBR but mix and master on the computer.

I'll show you some tunes and talk about how I crafted them very soon. I'm eager to join ideas and become part of this nice community.
