Heard about Loog guitars today, only 3 strings, designed to get people playing guitar.

Sort of seems like an Ikea flat pack but maybe its a good idea.

Here's what their website says:

How do you tune The Loog Guitar?

We recommend using Open A tuning: A-E-A. However, the Loog Guitar is all about exploration, so you can use pretty much any string-configuration and tuning you want to: standard tuning, Open G, string it with the first three strings... whatever works.

And I found this interesting:

What strings do you use?

We ship our guitars with standard 5th (A), 4th (D) and 3rd (G) nylon classical guitar strings. We use nylon strings because they are easier on children's fingers.

Can I use steel strings in The Loog Guitar?

We do not recommended using steel strings in the Loog Guitar. They apply a great amount of tension and this may result in damage to the tailpiece or other parts of the instrument.
