No time to get the Rode out so I locked myself in the bathroom for half an hour with the BR and its internal mics. Guitar and vox recorded together (2 strings on the guitar - I did say I only had half an hour) with harmony overlaid.

Choice of song - from another thread.

Tangled Wires

What a wonderful version of a song I count amongst my guilty pleasures!

The overlaid harmony is fantastic and love the way you have turned this into a gentle acoustic version with the natural reverb of the bathroom setting.

You have put me in the mood to have another listen to the original now!

Blimey Haylie, what with Andrew and his guilty pleasures I hit the play button with some trepidation.... but absolutely blown away! Fantastic harmonies! I could feel myself slipping into doowap heaven (Mud thread right?) Bloody Tiger Feet....all we need now is someone to cover the Bay City Rollers (I reserve Crazy Horses for myself!)

Thought Crazy Horses was the Osmands?? My sister was in love with the Osmands, David Cassidy and the Bay City Rollers - I got into huge amounts of trouble smearing nivia cream onto my sis's biggest picture of David, right on his nose. Little brothers are toerags!

it would appear I have the same musical influences as your sister Bruno - I have a version of 12th of Never (Donny Osmond) that I still play in secret :)

wasn't it just Tommy - I heard someone cover it recently (out and about) and thought I could do better than they did - got the backer and tried to sing it and thought no, maybe not (it's too high for me!) - he's got a killer, killer vox and didn't get nearly enough recognition.

thanks for the listen :)
