TRIBUTE FEST II

On Boxing Day 2004 the Indian Ocean Tsunami killed over 230,000 people in 14 countries, particularly
Indonesia.  This 3rd largest ever tsunami prompted a world wide humanitarian effort.

Hooper wrote words and music to this tribute to that effort.  I find the lyrics powerful and comprehensive as
they can refer as well to many another crisis that ends up demonstrating man's humanity to man.

Most of you know Hoop as master player, recorder, producer, mixer, master, and collaborator.  To me he's the
older brother who inspired, instructed, and encouraged me in my musical efforts.  Check this one out if you will, then check out Hooper's original.

Thank you very much ORH, FuzzFace, Hook, and Gnasty for your kind remarks.  A tribute from me to Hooper is something I'd thought about for a long time.  Glad I finally got to it, it was fun! ;D

I thought this was fantastic, so impressed I am just catching up with Hooper's original as I write as I have not heard it. I loved your vocal, really emotional, and the arrangement really works...brilliant!

I just caught Hooper's version tonight and was blown away by it and you've definately done it justice. I think it's a really great song and I hope more people get to hear both versions. Mighty fine :)
