New SD card - no eBand backing tracks

I recently got a new SD card for the BR80 (San Disk SDHC 4gb - works fine so far) and after formatting the card I noticed that the backing tracks in eBand aren't there. I have tried copying the JS folder from the original SD card onto the new one but they are still not showing when I put the new card into the MBR80. Any suggestions? The US Boss site has some new backing tracks that will apparently work with eBand and the MBR 80, so i'm keen to try them out.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get the backing tracks onto the new SD card?

Geir

Sorry, didn't see this before now. I don't use the eBand mode so I can't give you an answer right away. A far as I know what you've done should work. Maybe copying the _CARD.BR0 file from the ROLAND folder will help.

Thanks, Geir. I'll give that a go this evening.

Just a quick update. I tried Geir's suggestion but it doesnt seem to have worked. I have copied the JS folder from the original SD card to my computer and then copied to the new card.  Whilst I can view the preset backing tracks on the computer, they do not appear when you turn the MBR80 on.  I have worked out how to get the Microtracks from the Boss website on to the MBR80 (using the eBand Song List Editor) but this doesnt work with the Preset backing tracks. Any other suggestions?

Strummer, I don't know if the folder structure on the BR80 is the same as the eBand but its worth a look.

Here is a text file depicting arrangement of folders and sub-folders on the 16 gigabyte SD card in my eBand.

By the way, how did you format the SD card?

If you did the format on your computer, you will need to insert the card into the BR80 and format it that way.

Let me know how you resolve this issue.
