Thanks Rob and Andy! This was a fun song that fell quickly into place for me. The key, vocal range of the melody, and phrasing of the lyric lines were in my natural ball park. All that combined allowed me to record the lead vocal in one take...which was so cool. I usually do at least two takes and sometimes more to get one I'm completely happy with.

Andy: besides all the other stuff involved in a good mix, the use of proper compression, proper reverb/delay effects and proper panning are the keys to getting one that can compete with the rest.

Loved the song, although I don't know it. Fab, punchy arrangement and really cool vox Farrell. (I could hear an a cappella section in there with some hand claps towards the end but you didn't go there)
