I have just got a new laptop, and loaded up my cd rom I got with my BR800, everything seems ok but I cant get my wav con to work it ccomes up with Not br series card any ideas....Alex

Are you sure the BR-800 is selected in the "Drive" drop-down list? Don't assume that the BR Wave Converter will automatically detect it. Check the drop-down and try some of the other drives listed there.

The BR Wave Converter that came with your BR-800 may not be the latest version. Download the latest version here: http://www.roland.com/support/article/?q=downloads&p=BR-800

Did you install the USB drivers on your new computer? They shouldn't be needed to use the BR Wave Converter but if all else fails, try installing them. Maybe they're needed with the BR-800 even though they're not needed with other BRs.

What happens if you take the memory card out of your BR-800 and insert it into a card reader instead? Does the BR Wave Converter work with it? It should.

Thanks 64 I will check tonight,I have already downloaded the latest of Wav Con, its sitting in my computer but doesnt seem to attach to my br800,Itried to reload it from my cd Rom but it comes up with..Compressor (zipped) folder was unable to create specified directory, ensure directory does not already exist, Last night I did a song but ended up taking a line out to my mbr and making an mp3 that way, ...Regards Alex
