It must be an age thing but I seem to go for the old classic's !
This Ben E King song is about as classic as it gets.
I really enjoyed doing this cover,I hope I did it justice.

Very smooth Snowpig! Great vocals and a nice bit of keyboard  ;)

Ah one of my all time favs. Great job with the vox, spot on. I'd bring the bass a bit up in the mix (to my ears) - its a big part of the song - but thats minor. Excellent.

Great cover of a great song. The vocals are excellent, as is your bass playing and keyboard playing. How did you do the drums, and what is that metallic/glass-like accent in each measure? Sounds good. Well done.

You did it justice!  And then some.

The vox is crystal, the organ nicely played.

Well done Roy.
Let it be known, there is a fountain, that was not made, by the hands of men.

Thanks for the comments Guys.
64 Guitars,I have a confession to make about the drum track,I took the drum and percussion track from a midi file and ran it through my keyboard! Is this cheating?
With the equipment I've got I could not have reproduced that sound so I decided to use it.
Personally I would not want to use midi files for anything other than drum tracks or sound effects,I would welcome your comments and those of other members regarding the use of midi files.

For drum tracks, pretty much anything goes - drum machines, midi files, loops, etc. (except in the upcoming DIY Fest, if it wins the vote). If you use midi files, backing tracks, or loops for anything other than the drums, then it should be posted in the Backing Track jams board. But in this case, since you only used a midi file for the drums, it's fine here.

One thing I'd like to ask of all our members is to post more information about how the song was recorded. Tell us what you used for the drums, which guitars, bass, and keyboards you used, and so on. It makes it easier to comment on the songs when we know a little about what went into making them. Too many song posts here just say "Here's my latest song" or something like that, and leave us guessing how it was done. So everyone: please include more info with your song posts.
