Is original song lost when converted to MP3.

Just wondering if I still have the original song with tracks some where on the BR?
Any help is much appreciated.

Converting to MP3 should not remove any of the original tracks. MP3's are made after you have mastered the track. Everything will still be there after you have created an export file.

All the song information is still in the song file.  You will have to go through the mastering process again to get out an WAV file.  You can then convert this WAV to MP3 using software on your PC without having to go through mastering again.
