Seeing as she is my all-time favourite artist / all-round Goddess, I approached this with trepidation. But there was no need. This is fantastic. A really cool twist, and an incredible soundscape. Can hear the Placebo reference on the vocal, but it really, really works. As does the sparse piano additions. This cover kicks some serious arse.

Kerpow! Nice alternative version. I'm not familiar with the Placebo version, I'll get to that, but this has to be the Portishead version.
