Great song Tim,
I love the guitar sounds and the pedal-steel really makes it special.

Really enjoyed this song, the writing and performance. wish that thumbjam was on Android.  This song is right up my street.

Great tune!

I have had the pedal steel app for a while, but I have been too intimidated by it to try and use it in a recording.  Nicely done.

I have been enjoying this for a few days now Tim, just haven't had a chance to comment.
I love this one alot, and especially liking the tremelo effect to your guitar.

Because the Hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back
On that you can rely

You have made a little masterpiece from three chords. Something with the way you play 'em, I think.
Has your usual impeccable production, but the whole thing zings along. Love your playing and the vox on this timeless piece.

Tim, Excellent as usual.  As for the English vs. Americana...The Stones pulled it off pretty well, and you do too!  Great tune, and I'm sure a few great tales backing it up!

Well Tim, I'm listening to your song this morning in Winston-Salem because I first heard it last week and noticed that W-S got a mention in the lyrics.   :D   We've talked just a little before about your familiarity of this area and I am still jealous that I'm not equally familiar with the part of the world around your backyard.

Your craft and artistry continues to amaze.... and the way you utilize new sound-making thingies.  The faux steel guitar sounds great and amazingly authentic.   A really fun listen.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Hey! I always appreciate nice comments from the master mixer! But it's pretty cool you listened to it on location. Gives me a nice feeling. I wonder if the little greyhound depot is still there. It was down a slope from an old Woolworths. But I guess these things change and move on. The first time I was there, I was looking at a 5 hour wait, but a driver took pity on me (I was the only person waiting!), and gave me a free ride on an empty bus to Salisbury. Happy days.
