I did this Elliott Smith song for a CD I am recording.

I have to admit that I don't know who Elliott Smith is, so I've never heard this song before. But I like your recording. What really stood out for me was the tone of your lead at 1:44. Did you use a 12-string or an octave effect perhaps? However you did it, it sounds great, especially the low notes.

Thanks 64, Elliott Smith was a Portland OR icon. He was in a band called Heatmiser. He went solo in 1994. His song "Miss Misery" is featured in the movie "Good Will Hunting". He was a troubled person, but a great songwriter, his life ended way too soon.
