I should probably slow down but I'm not going to, I love this uke!
I don't know much about this song but have played it on guitar for about a year. Done by me, soprano uke, & 2 mics LITLR.
Peace!

I haven't heard the original but this is Beautiful love the sound of a uke ...not to mention your vocal, great too...Jarvis over on alonetone is having a lot of fun with his uke too with http://alonetone.com/jarvis/tracks/aloha-o-ey-up.....and don't slow down the more the better in my book....what would the world be without choice .......

This is what I got. You might have to tighten up the screws a little on the uke (plastic tuners) but works well and you can hear the results yourself. The uke alone is only $30, the Mandolin combo is $90 ( no idea how much in funny munny). Both decent no frills starter instruments, but that works for me! Everyone should have everything they could ever want!
Thanks for the kind words, this was the most traditional thing I could record, immediately, on the uke, and I'm all about immediate gratification! Perhaps I will try to learn something very traditional in the weeks to come.
Uke on!
