A bit of an emotional outpouring, I think. I wrote this many years ago and have just re-recorded it.

fantastic piece VERY VERY well played.
you don't listen to Mike Oldfield by any chance? i could hear a lot of
"Mike's Stuff" well done
and if the sun should fail to rise against my
shoulders one last time...

Many thanks! Yes I was a bit of an old Oldfield fan once. I stopped listening after his 'Incantations' double album! I loved T Bells Hergest Ridge and Ommadawn when I was about 16 - incredibly long time ago. I'm 48 now.

I allways wanted to learn to play classic guitar. And when I listen to pieces like this one it comes back. Unfortunately I can't - I just can't play this flat fingerboard and thick neck  :)
Great work!

Lovely piece, very well played and put together.

Thanks for the really nice comments. It's interesting what you say, bydle. I've played the classical guitar for ages and only recently have I attempted to learn the electric guitar. I've in the opposite situation.  As there's no 'dots', I just don't know where to go with it. In classical guitar, you just play what's written, but with electric, you 'express yourself' and improvise. My improvisation just sounds rubbish. I've found myself an amazing teacher now. He knows every style - jazz, rock, bluegrass, everything! I hope to get to know the mysteries of improvisation.

Many thanks to you other guys too.

Maybe that my problem. I never liked to learn to play exactly as it's written. Now I do try to play exactly but I'm not using any tabs/notes. Just my guitar and my ear with a little help of MBR (to slow down the fast parts). Personaly I think this is the best way to learn how to improvise.
Some may prefer to learn scales and all that theory but It's not working for me. I know how to read notes, I know intervals and I can biuld chords and that helps. But I just do not understund all this scale thing. What do we need them for?

Our ears make music - not scales.
In my enviroment there are not many people that agree with me thou  ;D
