Holy crap!  For such a poppy ditty, the guitar tone is sick, sick, sick.  I don't know how you made that work, but work it does.  Great tune.  Catchy as all get-out.  Great double-stop segemnt in the solo as well.

Thanks Bloopy, side effect, Andy, Bluesberry, Burtog, and regs for the good comments on Lying In The Sun!

Bloopy and Andy - on the guitar sound and tone I used a flanger effect on Gary's stereo rhythm. His rhythm was heavily laden with lows so the flanger brightened it some and they are spread hard left and right. I then added my higher, brighter guitar chords rhythm...centered. So in essence it's three guitar rhythms.

Thanks all for taking the time to listen and to comment!

Man I just love this, it's a great collab. I caught just a trace of the Eagles which is all good in my book but I'm not even sure the Eagles could pull it off as good as you guys. Top notch...................Willie

Thanks Willie! When you team up a country rock guy (me) from the West Coast of the U.S. (home of The Eagles) with a rockin' metal guy from the East Coast of Canada....odd things emerge in song....even a hint of The Eagles can sneak in, lol. Thanks for the compliment....I love The Eagles!
