I just noticed that I had clocked up 1000 posts so I thought I really should add a piece of music, especially since I might be absent for a while.  Got some work that will keep me away from home a fair bit.  So this is the last False Prophet song (with me on it) for a while.  I think Nick and Mark are working on a couple without me so he may post them.

Anyway this called Earth Salt - Nick getting all nostalgic about a different time.  Being really boring I will just point out that I spent ages doing the marching-band style snare drums in the middle.  16 midi-tracks of different snare drum samples played slightly out of time to sound like a kiddies marching band.  Was it worth it?  Not even slightly but I enjoyed it.....

PS ripped at lowest bitrate to make it fit.

I should just do the credits -

Nick (Nightcaller) Vocals and bass guitar.
Mark Drozdz - all guitars
Me - keyboards

The usual suspects.

Congrats on your 1000th post!

And what a monster of a song! Perfectly balanced and mixed, and of course, all of the performances are out of this world. Not a note or addition that doesn't work. This really is at a different level! Talent overdrive....

Excellent stuff guys, love that stereo effect on the marching snare! Fabulous production, beautifully polished and well crafted and as always it is a song dripping with high quality performances and musical skill. Very powerful song as well, it's got real heavy prog punch.

Cheers,

Nigel

Another FP song to add to the "Hit List"... this is pure rockin magic. That freakin bassline caught my attention right from the start... and then the rest of the song just got better and better. As always ChapperZ your production is top notch and them killer pipes of Nick's just sends it tooo the moon.
