Ya know, online collaborating is the greatest thing going since the trans-Atlantic cable.
The next best thing at least to actually being there.   ;)

ORH on the lead vocal and synth strings. Hoop on electric guitars, bass, robo drums, backing vocals, production.

Thanks for listening and hope you enjoy.  :)

Over the Water
Music by Ken Lowry
Words by Jim Higgins

Hey
Over the water
Way
Over the water
The day will come
Of that I'm sure
We will be borne
Upon the air
Over the water
Over the water
Across the sea
Over the water
Over the water
Across the sea

Dreams
Over the water
Friends
Over the water
I hope for sure
A time will come
When we can be
All together
Over the water
Over the water
Across the sea
Over the water
Over the water
Across the sea
Across the sea
Maybe some day
Maybe one day
over the water

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

a lot of firsts for me n hooper here, our slowest ever @ 86bpms, we tried to speed it up but couldnea be bothered, first time we have ever used my 1st take on vocals, hoop is chilling out these days, usually my larynx is bleeding from the endles retakes burt bacharach is a lamb in comparison, i actually sang the words to another song entirely, not one note is in remains from the version i sang along with. and it's the first time i have ever played any instruments on any of our collabs, i don't know how mr hoop puts up with me, but i do love him.

I'm liking the relaxed vocals (not unusual considering the singer) quite a bit and when that guitar comes in it's killer. Fits perfectly and sounds great.

Amazing production...a real Dark Side Floyd vibe. Lead guitar rules on this!
