Thank you for all the comments - pleased for Kari that it worked out so well for him.
It is mainly Kari's song as he supplied a great music track with a set of lyris which really just needed extending and changing a little to fit into English phrasing.
I sent him the vocal tracks and he did the final mix putting it all together brilliantly. He was unable to put a bit more brightness into the vocal because of the way I set it up, so that was my fault.
The vox effect in the chorus I used was a very much doctored and altered Phaser effect on the BR1600.
I have had a listen to Atlantis by Donovan and can see the similarities.

Oh my word - that opening guitar! This is so beautiful. Exceptional chord changes and arrangement, and the lyrical additions add a whole other dimension. It's a real killer!

p.s. it reminded me more of 'David's Last Summer' by Pulp than Donovan's 'Atlantis'. Same kind of lilting, spoken beauty.

What a beauty this is!

Acoustic guitar and piano are my favorite combo of instruments - and they play together well here. Wonderful sentiment in the lyrics, and excellent narration and singing as well.
