I think this should qualify for both festivals. Live to MBR onboard mic.

Thanks for your ears,

Sandy.

Great performance Sandy, I love the percussive quality to your guitar track!
I'm still kinda new around here but should festivals really mingle?
Sounds great !
Rock on!

Damn good, Sandy! I'm not familiar with the original, but here's very "unique Gritter"touch that it could be an original by you :). Love it!!

Alright! That was fun, hearing this song translated this way.   :)
Very creative as well as consistent with what we're coming to know as your own style.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

WOW this is a treat !

Sounds incredibly good for a live recording to a single mic. Sounds almost like you have a bass there, did you use some alternate tuning? and what patches did you use?

Fab performance Sandy !!!

Interesting choice, Sandy - you really made this your own by adding some edge and your own style to it. I prefer yours over the original!

I recorded it with the onboard mic set to guitar setting Twangster which I have tweaked a bit. Mastered on the live setting which has also been tweaked.

I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the comments.

You really did achieve a full sound here Gritts , and as Geir said , for one mic , an incredibly good one , maybe you and Brian got together for a drink , and he passed on a few secrets , seriously though , i like what you've done it sounds fab
