sounds bloody good for recording through 1 mic into one track.  How is it done.  I love this, I have to try something similar.  Got any more details of your set-up?  I really like your voice here Geir.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

details:

quite simple ... I have the mic on a micstand, with a self-made shock-mount made of a part of a plastic pipe (ø=12cm) gaffer tape, and some nylon rope (1mm). A pop-filter in front of the mic.

Recorded with patch P02 on the BR800, which is a compressor and a noise-gate ( a bit too much compression, when I listen again now) and mastered through the "P13 Acoustic" master effect.

I sing very close to the pop-filter and guitar is where the guitar should be when standing up :)

oh ... and if anyone wants to add something .. feel free !!! harp .. flute .... selfmade jumbo lute ...: go for it ... or just sing in harmony !! I love harmony !!!

He's such a cheery soul old Mr Cohen and superbly interperated by that truly cheery soul Mr Alfsen.

Sweet recording Geir.

When you decide to strip down, it's when you shine the most. The vocal delivery sucked me in and kept me in euphoria for the entire track. Beautifully done Geir.

Sublime. This is what Mr Cohen wishes he could sound like, lol. Another masterclass in simplicity and raw, shining talent.

Damn, the recording on this is incredible. So 'live' that it sounded like you were sat inside my head, lol.

Amazing.

Never heard the song before now either Geir but your version sure holds my attention. Real good recording with just the one mic. The Behringer mic does real well at catching everything in balance . I have a B2 that I use now and then and it does well also. I like your voice on this!
