falling outside the normal moral constraints
could really do as he pleased
if the situation really called for it
he would

sense amid madness, wit amidst folly
could only sit back and watch
himerance: me i'm counting
returned to total internal reflection

we only want to live
it's more than surface detail
we only want to live
it's more than surface detail
so make sure you backed up your neural lace
if you wanna live on
if you wanna live on

yime was special circumstances
planted deep within the quietus
demeisen behaved appallingly
it's just his second nature
veppers got what he deserved
the tattoo took revenge
lededje y'breq lived a long life
as a citizen of the culture
we only want to live
it's more than surface detail
