mixing line in with condenser mic

What if you play and sing at the same time, but only record the guitar? Then record another take of playing and singing but only record the vocals. Now you've got your guitar and vocals on separate tracks to allow for independent mixing. Of course, you'll need to play and sing to a drum pattern or metronome to keep everything in sync.

Have you tried using the guitar input? You'd only get  the GR-55 in mono, but you can combine it with input 4 !
