Hello everyone, my name is Chip and I hail from Tamworth, Staffordshire UK. I have an MBR which I have owned for a few months, having previously just messed about with cassette 4 trackers this is a remarkable little device, outstanding and somewhat daunting. However thanks to this site and some youtube vids it's getting less daunting. I have been playing guitar for near on forty years and have been with my band for the last two, having had a break from music due to business priority I decided to get back into it and I'm glad I did. Anyway I will post a fair few questions I am sure. Being from a different age these questions may seem rather simple.

I can pretty much find my way round computers but do have a problem with technical gobble-de-gook, the MBR is a wonderful tool and I would like to get the best out of it I can, without me throwing it out of the window due to lack of understanding and confusion. Being from the cassette age these devices are somewhat more complicated but I am getting, slowly there. So if I ask a silly question, you now no why.

Great forum, super info, fantastic songs and great support, all this would have been only in dreams when I was a teenage rocker.   Cheers Chip.

Hi, I'm Chip, too! Nice to meet a Chip from another part of the world.
And I was just thinking the other day that if this site had been around when I was a teenager, I might not have wasted all those years on college and learning a proper trade.
Can't help you much with recording tips as I'm pretty basic myself these days - a couple of takes and on to something else - but I can tell you the music round here is top notch and the folks are friendly.

Not another Chip, Chip or Chippy is my nick name as it comes from my surname Chipman and no, I do not have a chip shop, anyway thanks for the welcome from yourself and 64 guitars.
