Hi everybody

I've got just simple question - how to use BOSS BR - 800 Rhythm Editor? step by step..please. Any advice from legends?  ;D

I'm in the process of creating a Guide to using the BR Rhythm Editor. It's a detailed walk-through for creating a custom pattern and arrangement in 3/4 (though the techniques apply to all time signatures). It's not quite finished yet but there's enough there to get you started.

Point to Guides in the Songcrafters main menu and select Home Recording. Then click on the category "Boss BR Drums" and select the guide "BR Rhythm Editor - 3/4 arrangements".

If you have any questions that aren't answered in the guide, ask them here.

Use the PC editor, that makes life a lot easier. You can load up the existing drum patterns, edit them if you want, and then drag them into the Arrangement window at the bottom. This lets you build up songs in a very visual way. It is a little clumsy, you have to load a pattern into the Pattern window before you can drag it into the Arrangement window. But compared to programming drums on the MBR, the PC editor for the BR 800 is quite easy to use.

I suggest you give it a go and let us know if you have specific questions.

Cheers,

Nigel
